From the kitchen into the dining room (left, with light reflecting off great-great grandma's kitchen table, and Debra's china cabinet) and living room (right.)  The house footprint is 25' 4" x32', so the kitchen, dining room, and living room are each 16' x12' 8", with foyer, bath, staircase, and fireplace taking most of the other "quarter."

Debra and I once was planning on "living aboard" a sailboat.  So, yes, Arrowpeak House is SMALL on purpose.  Low amount of heat needed.  Less tax.  Less maintenance.  Since I planned the house to be as efficient as a sailboat's space, it is plenty of space for a family.
