Arrowpeak Healing Farm

We take care of 32+ beautiful acres in northwest Ohio.

The whole farm has been converted to native pasture with cattle, chickens, goats, and a therapy pony named Dance Misty, who has greatly helped with Samuel's recovery from all his surgeries.

The farmhouse, Arrowpeak House, was constructed of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) for energy efficiency.

The fireplace is a masonry Swedish contra-flow style found in Europe which burns wood much more efficiently than a metal stove could ever do.

The Arrowpeak name and logo comes from the shape of the roof itself, with the curved roof and sharp peak.

Debra L. Bowman, RN, CCRN

Debra grew up on a dairy farm in Indiana. While I was a pilot for a big corporation in Indiana, I worked for her parents on their dairy farm for room and board.

I stole the farmer's daughter.  You have to be a good friend to find out the whole story!

She has been a charge nurse on Intensive Care and Coronary Care, which included taking care of open-heart and brain surgery patients in a large hospital.

She is currently working at our local Fulton County Hospital as House Supervisor and a Critical Care RN on CCU (Critical Care Unit) and ER (Emergency Room.)

Captain Brian T. Bowman, RN, ATP

I first earned an agriculture degree from Ohio State University because of my love of farming.

After returning from Haiti as an agricultural advisor, I took a "discovery flight" and fell in love with flying, and began piloting corporate jets in 1989. I currently have an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and have three type ratings, all in Cessna Citation line - CE-500, CE-650, CE-560XL.  I also have been a Simulator Instructor and Examiner for FlightSafety, International.

I have a current medical, and I still fly an Excel part time for a medical company, just so I can "scratch the itch" of being in the air.

Inspired by Debra's love of healing, I quit flying full-time and we got married and attended school together at Ohio University, and passed the first computerized Registered Nurse board exams on the first try.  The state board exam to become an RN is absolutely the toughest test I have ever taken, and I was certain I had failed when I finished.

After graduation, we worked in the same hospital and I got experience as a "float" in Rehabilitation, Oncology, Orthopedic, Coronary Care, Intensive Care, and Psych.

I also produced patient education and staff development videos as a private contractor to health care institutions, including a broadcast television advertisement for a childrens' insurance program.

Today my morning schedule finds me milking goats, gathering eggs, checking the cattle and fence, taking a shower and then opening the clinic for local business and firing-up a MacBook Pro to access the online world.
